About directory listings

A directory listing is the placement of your business name, address, and phone number in your local telephone directory as well as in directory assistance (411). Comcast Business Voice service includes one listing in directory assistance and a single listing in two sections of your local directory: the white pages and the yellow pages (business).

You have three directory listing options:

  • Published: Your business will be listed in the local directory and with directory assistance.

  • Non-Published: Your business will not be listed in either the local directory or directory assistance.

  • Non-Listed: Your business will not be listed in the local directory but will be listed with directory assistance.

If you order additional listings, you will be charged a one-time fee for each listing and a monthly recurring fee for each listing. If you choose to have a number Non-Published or Non-Listed, you will be charged a one-time fee and a monthly recurring fee for each number.

Common requests for directory listings

Request What to do
Get listed in a directory outside of your local area. Contact the publisher of any other directory that you want to be listed in. We only provide listings to the primary local telephone directory in your area.
Get listed in other directories in your area. Other publications are independent businesses and you should contact them directly. We only provide listings to the primary local telephone directory in your area.
Change the address you are listed under. You can only be listed under the address where your business is located. If this address is incorrect, contact Comcast Business Support at 1-800-391-3000 to update your address and request a directory listing update.
Add a listing on another phone number. Contact Comcast Business Support at 1-800-391-3000 to order an additional listing.
Change the phone number that is listed. Contact Comcast Business Support at 1-800-391-3000 to request this change.
Get your toll-free numbers listed. Contact your local telephone directory publisher to add these to your listing. At this time we do not support listings for toll-free numbers.
Use your listing from a previous provider. In order to keep a previous listing, you must include a request to your Comcast Sales representative to maintain "as-is" at the time of sale.
Order a new or change an existing yellow pages advertisement. Contact your yellow pages provider directly. At this time, Comcast does not provide this service.

Schedule for publications and updates

Contact your local telephone directory publisher for its next publishing date. They are generally printed once a year.

About Directory Assistance

Your Business Voice service includes one listing in directory assistance (411). Your directory assistance listing will also appear online.
