Introduction

Make it easy for your customers to reach you at no cost to them by adding toll-free service to your Comcast Business Voice account.

  1. What is a toll-free number?

    what is toll free

A toll-free number is a reverse charged "virtual number" that points to one of your existing Comcast Business Voice lines. For example, 1-800-123-4567 is dialed by your customer, which will then connect to your Comcast Digital Voice Line 123-456-7890.

  2. Benefits

Toll-free service can help expand your business by enabling your customers to reach you via a toll-free number. A toll-free number is an excellent marketing tool and sends a strong customer-service message. You can include your toll-free number on your website to make it even easier for your customers to do business with you.

When you have a toll-free number from Comcast, your customers can reach you from anywhere in the U.S., Canada, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Comcast currently supports up to 5 toll-free numbers per account.

  3. Ordering

Ordering a Comcast Business toll-free number for your company is as fast and easy as a toll-free call to your Business Customer Support team at 1-800-391-3000.

If you already have a toll-free number, you can keep your current number, and Comcast will help you transfer it. The transfer process can be completed in as few as 10 business days after activation of your Business Voice services. To begin the transfer process you will need to call 1-800-391-3000 to obtain the necessary paperwork to port over your toll-free number. Your completed toll-free transfer form as well as a copy of your current toll-free phone bill will then need to be faxed to us, for the porting process to begin.

If you are interested in obtaining a native Comcast toll-free number, then you will need to be an existing Business Voice customer. A native Comcast toll-free number order can be filled in as few as 5 business days.

  4. Pricing

Pricing consists of a one-time activation fee, a recurring monthly service charge and usage charges for international calling as they occur.* Usage charges are based on per-minute rates for calls received domestically (includes Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Saipan/N. Mariana Islands and American Samoa). Additional usage charges will apply for calls received from Canada, as well as calls received from public payphones. For detailed pricing for usage charges, please see our Toll-Free Service terms and conditions

*Note: Prices are subject to change.
